James Gets A Big Boy Bed

Just in time for his second birthday, Dan converted James crib into a toddler bed. James is so proud and has not yet left his bed unescorted! Next challenge, get rid of the pacifier!

Baby Keefer Number 3

We were thrilled to find out in November that we are expecting our third child June 27, 2008! I started out with mild all-day sickness but that has now subsided and I am back to my old self. Halle is convinced the baby is a girl and says we must name it Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). James says it's a boy. We do not plan to find out the sex before the baby is born.

Christmas in Bluffton 2007

We returned to Bluffton the night after Christmas. The kids fell asleep in the car on the way home and surprisingly we were able to carry them to their beds. So, Halle and James woke up the next morning, we called Gramma and Papa over from across the street, and we all had fun seeing what Santa left for us here. Halle was very excited about her Princess bike and James enjoyed his Diego big wheel, even though he has some growing to do before he can reach the pedals.

James First Haircut

We visited Dan's cousin at Master Cuts for James' first, official haircut. He was a great sport as long as he could suck on a lollipop! We asked her to barely trim it up, we love the curls too much.

Christmas in PA 2007

On Christmas morning, Halle checked to be sure Santa ate his cookies. ....James and Halle got rolling, animal backpacks!

We all survived a 15 hour drive to Pennsylvania on December 21st and a 13 hour drive home on December 26th. It was worth the full days in the car to be able to spend time with our family in Hanover, PA. Even though James was sick on Christmas Day, he managed to play hard enough before then to really enjoy some quality time with his Papaw and Mamaw. We also had good times with Uncle Matt and Aunt Jenn who came down from State College and Uncle Mike, Aunt Amanda, Olivia and Meredith who made lots of time to see us throughout our stay at Dan's parents' house. We even took a mini trip to Hershey, PA to visit Dan's Uncle Dave, Aunt Jenny and their two boys Zach and Josh. While the boys entertained the kids, a storm knocked out the power, so we spent quality time with flashlights and lanterns.

We saw Great Papaw at his nursing home on Christmas Day and he even had a special visit from Santa.
