Baby Hayes' Baptism

Our sweet baby Hayes submitted to the cold water poured on his head as he was baptized on Saturday, September 27th. Our old neighbors and good friends, Tim and Maura Peirce agreed to be his Godparents. It was a beautiful day.

Papa's Got a Brand New Boat

Papa Laiewski purchased a slightly used boat from a friend of his. On his second trip out on the May River, he let us tag along. Hayes' life jacket swallowed him. We all had a great quick trip on the water.

Baby Hayes is growing and smiling more and more everyday. He is such a joy.

Shenanigans at Naptime

One weekday, as I was putting James down for his nap, I accidentally left our digital camera setting at the end of his bed. Once he discovered it, he figured out how to turn it on and take several pictures. Later, Halle went up to get him up from his nap and all I heard was lots of giggling. Here are some of the pictures they took.

Siblings

Halle and James are really loving and mostly gentle with Hayes. They ask to hold him often and help Mama by getting diapers, wipes, blankets, etc. Hayes is a pleasant baby who smiles often.

Learning to Fish

Daddy took Halle and James to pick out their very own fishing poles. James chose a Diego pole and Halle chose a Princess pole. In a few years, maybe they'll learn to bait and catch real fish. Until then, they are happy casting and pretending to catch fish.

Spontaneous Barber Shop

Mama decided James needed a little trim. So while he enjoyed a popsicle, he got his locks trimmed.
