Rainforest Vacation Bible School

Halle and James were invited to an evening Bible school at the local Methodist church. It ran from 5:30 to 7 for five nights. They fed the children supper, taught them wonderful songs and helped them make rainforest crafts. Halle and James had so much fun and were adorable while performing the music at the Sunday service.

Anxiously Awaiting

Our Family's First Boat Trip

Our good friends, Tracy and Brian, took us on a boating excursion in honor of Dan's 30th birthday. We explored the May River and all the beautiful scenary that surrounds us. The kids loved being on the water.

Visiting Riverbanks Zoo

My mom and I took a trip to Greenville, SC to visit our friends and family. On the way up, we stopped in Columbia at the Riverbanks Zoo. It was a very hot day, and I am very pregnant (set to deliver June 24th) but we managed to find plenty of shade and cold things to eat and drink. Halle and James loved seeing all the animals, riding the carousel and taking the tram from our car to the zoo.

Little Shakespeare

Halle's school hosted a Shakespeare Festival. Each child was asked to dress in Shakespearean attire and memorize one line from a Shakespeare play. Halle amazed and thrilled us by delivering her line in front of the crowd on her school lawn. Of course, she loved dressing like a princess.

Bluffton Beach

We had fun discovering All Joy Beach in Bluffton on the May River. You can see many boats on the river, dig your toes in the mud and even find crabs.
