Baby Keefer 3 at 20 weeks
We traveled to MUSC the week of Valentine's Day, as requested by my doctor, to check some fluid detected around one of the baby's kidneys at the ultrasound the previous week. Luckilly, the fluid was not visible at an alarming rate on the 3 D ultrasound and we were sent home with great news of a healthly baby on the way and some incredible pictures. We are still going to wait to see if it's a girl or a boy!

James' 2nd Birthday

We celebrated James' birthday at home with Dan's parents, who came down from Pennsylvania, and my parents, at our house. He enjoyed his cupcake, lifesize rocking horse, veterinarian's kit, and playground Dan made for the backyard. The next day, we had a bar b que at the beach. The weather warmed up enough for us to play in the sand after lunch.
First Pony Rides

We were fortunate to be invited to Hampton Island, just outside of Savannah, for a Neighborhood Lunch and Oyster Roast. The ammenities are beautiful and rustic. We were given tours of the animal rescue center, barn, spa, lake, and taken for a horse and carriage ride around the grounds. Halle and James willingly rode on a pony and fed it carrots from the organic garden.

James Gets A Big Boy Bed

Just in time for his second birthday, Dan converted James crib into a toddler bed. James is so proud and has not yet left his bed unescorted! Next challenge, get rid of the pacifier!

Baby Keefer Number 3

We were thrilled to find out in November that we are expecting our third child June 27, 2008! I started out with mild all-day sickness but that has now subsided and I am back to my old self. Halle is convinced the baby is a girl and says we must name it Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). James says it's a boy. We do not plan to find out the sex before the baby is born.

Christmas in Bluffton 2007

We returned to Bluffton the night after Christmas. The kids fell asleep in the car on the way home and surprisingly we were able to carry them to their beds. So, Halle and James woke up the next morning, we called Gramma and Papa over from across the street, and we all had fun seeing what Santa left for us here. Halle was very excited about her Princess bike and James enjoyed his Diego big wheel, even though he has some growing to do before he can reach the pedals.
