James' 3rd Birthday

We went to see Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus in Savannah to celebrate James' third birthday. Mamaw and Papaw Keefer came from PA to join us and Gram and Papa came too. The circus was a little overwhelming, but good memories were made. The following day, we played at a local playground and had cupcakes.

Christmas Day at the Beach

This was a first for our family, spending Christmas Day on the beach! It was about 65 degrees and sunny, so we packed up the car and headed about 12 miles east to Hilton Head. Fun was had by all.

Visiting Pennsylvania December 2008

We drove to Hanover, PA the day after Christmas and stayed through New Year's Day. Halle and James saw snow flurries for the first time and were very excited. We celebrated for many days with great food, family and gifts. Halle and James enjoyed time with Olivia, Meredith and the afternoon spent with their extended Keefer cousins.

Christmas Day 2008

So much fun was had by all with surprises to fill the day and then the following week. Halle and James could not wait to get downstairs Christmas morning. Everyone awoke around the same time. We then hurried downstairs to see what Santa left under the tree. Halle was excited to find an ironing board with iron, a miniature Dirt Devil vaccuum cleaner, a small mop, and a Hannah Montannah shirt. James was happy to see his new, green bike and fireman jacket. Hayes also found some baby toys under the tree. Stockings were filled with crayons, paper, stickers and fruit snacks. Gram, Papa, Alicia and Adam knocked on the door about thirty minutes into our morning excitment. From there, it only got more fun. We continued opening presents here, then went across the street to begin a whole new, present filled party. Later, Halle and James went on their first bike ride with Daddy. James seemed like a natural on his new bike (Halle has had hers since last Christmas).
